Vico e Campeggi alla Torre

Campeggi celebrates its historic collaboration with Vico Magistretti by setting up a portable living room inside the entrance of the Torre al Parco (a project by Vico Magistretti and Franco Longoni, 1953-56). The installation is accompanied by a narrative that, through archival images, connects the stories behind the design of the multifunctional objects with the architecture of the Torre al Parco. The installation connects the recent restoration of Torre al Parco with the first release of the Vico Collection, illustrating how both, while rooted in the past, are authentic expressions of contemporary design.
The portable living room features five multifunctional objects designed by Vico Magistretti and re-issued by Campeggi: the foldable coat rack Broomstick Uno, the mobile bookcase Moma, the sofa-bed Oblò, the bed-sofa Ospite, and the foldable chair Piccy.

“Tutto già c’è, è solo un po’ nascosto” is the book published alongside the exhibition on view at Torre al Parco. It is a narrative of images and words, loosely inspired by the stories of multifunctional objects created through the collaboration between Vico Magistretti and Campeggi.
